Alejandro was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia; where at the age of 18 he decided to pursue his passion for Dance. He studied on a full scholarship at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City, where he discovered his love of Musical Theater and signing.

He worked as a freelance artist with numerous ballet and contemporary dance companies before moving to Austin in 2020.

There, he began training in Figure Skating, and became a Learn to Skate USA instructor and coach. Ice dance is, of course, his favorite discipline on the ice. 

Alejandro recently started teaching a Musical Theater 101 class with Birchwood that welcomes anyone who wants to improve their technique and expand their choreography skills.
